Winner, Class 2

Mia is 14 and resides in Chester. Mia was awarded the music scholarship at King’s School Chester when she was 11. Now Mia attends the Shrewsbury School where she was awarded the Burney Scholarship (top music scholarship) and plays in various music groups as the principal cellist. This is the third and the final year being a full national member of NCO (National Children's Orchestra) and she recently performed with NCO's main orchestra as a co-principal cellist and performing a solo of Shostakovich Gadfly Suite “Nocturne” at Bridgewater Hall and also at the Woolwich Works in London.
