Chester Music Society has been bringing people together through the power of music since 1946. From our post-war beginnings to today’s dynamic performances, we’ve hosted internationally acclaimed artists, supported talented amateurs, and created unforgettable musical moments.
Our rich heritage includes concerts by legends like Paul Tortelier and Vladimir Ashkenazy, the formation of choirs and orchestras, and a commitment to sharing music with our community. We’re proud of our past – but we’re even more excited about what’s to come.

Society membership is £15 annually.
