Chester born Soprano Heather Heighway graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with First Class Honours in 2013.Heather will complete her Masters Degree in Music Therapy at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in July this year and is very excited to start working as a Music Therapist with adults living with Dementia.
Heather has won many prizes across the North West including a Recital Prize at the Mrs Sunderland Music Festival in Huddersfield and she was the Chester Young Musician of the year in 2011. Whilst at the Conservatoire Heather won The Reginald Vincent Lieder Prize, and was a finalist in the Mario Lanza Opera Prize.
Heather has been the soprano soloist in choral works: Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Finzi’s In Terra Pax, Faure’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, Schubert’s Mass in G, Mozart’s C Minor Mass, Haydn's Creation and Bach's Saint John Passion. She is also a regular concert and recital performer across the Country.
Heather is very grateful to Chester Music Society for the opportunity to sing for people during lockdown and hopes to spread some love and fun during these dark and hard times.

Joseph Buckmaster is a Lyric Spinto Tenor from the North West of England. He completed his BMus at the Royal Northern College of Music and his MA at the Royal Academy of Music.
He has performed professionally the roles of Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Ferrando in Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte, Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Boheme, Don Curzio and Basilio in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro and Tom in Amy Beach’s Cabildo at the Grimeborn festival.
Joseph has performed as soloist throughout the country including Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, Handel’s Messiah and Judas Maccabaeus, Mozart’s Requiem, Stainer’s Crucifixion, Mendelssohn’s Elijah and Rossini’s Petite Messe Sollonele.
