with The Bishop's High School 'Soul Academy' Band

The Chester Schools Concert Band celebrates its 32nd birthday in October 2017. During these years it has performed at many concert venues in Great Britain and overseas – from the Alps to the Arctic – and raised thousands of pounds for charity. The band has forty members aged between eleven and eighteen drawn from eleven schools in the Chester district with a wide-ranging repertoire that includes modern, film and classical music.

The evening also includes the "Soul Academy" band from Bishop's High School, Chester

The Bishop's High School 'Soul Academy' Band is made up of students from all year's within the school.  They have been selected to perform in the 'Essential Musical Routes' Showcase Concert in May 2018.  These concerts feature the Best of Youth Music making from schools across Cheshire. Previously they were invited to Liverpool SAE Institute to undertake a recording session.
