A Christmas Evening with Caldy Valley Voices
and Bishop's High School Bellringers

Caldy Valley Voices are a community choir of over 50 singers. We are a mixed voice ensemble of all abilities, with ages ranging from 18 years of age upwards. Our repertoire covers a wide range of genre from pop to classical.

Bishops’ High School bellringers are drawn from students at the school. Each Christmas the team rings at city centre hotels and since its formation has donated at least £1,000 each year to local children’s charities. The team has rung a number of times in Lörrach and Sens, Chester’s twin towns in Germany and France. The group toured in the United States in  2006 and again last year and the venues included St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the United Nations HQ in New York - the RC National Shrine in Washington DC and Walt Disney World, Florida.

The ringers appeared on national television on the Jonathan Ross show - as a ‘backing group’ for the Icelandic singer Björk. The group toured in the United States in 2006 and again last year at venues including St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the United Nations HQ.
