Open 'Come and Sing' Day

“Hey nonny no”, and all that. A sing-through of some of the hits of the 16th and 17th centuries, sacred and profane.


Singers of all abilities and all voice parts are invited to join Chester Music Society choir with Music Director Graham Jordan Ellis and accompanist Graham Eccles in a day of fun and musical frolics: from Renaissance to Reformation.

Ariano Banchieri : A Musical Concoction
Josquin des Près : El Grillo
And selections from “King Arthur” by Henry Purcell
